PC Email Signature Instructions

Consistent and clear email signatures present a professional appearance for conducting business through email. Using consistent email signatures for @ahec.edu email accounts is an opportunity to create brand alignment while relaying relevant contact information. Please follow the format for PC email signatures below.

Microsoft Outlook For PC

  1. Download email signature template: Email Signature Template (PC).msg
  2. Double click on the file to open it in Outlook
  3. Choose Option A, B, C or D
    Highlight the email block
    (text and image)
  4. On the Edit tab, click Copy (Control C)
  5. Create a new email message
  6. On the Message tab, from the Include dropdown menu, click the Signature icon, then click Signatures

     
  7. Within the signature editing box, highlight the existing signature and delete the text and image.
    OR choose to create a new signature.
  8. Paste (Control V) new email block

    8a. Adjust font size(s) if necessary, following the sizes outlined above.
  9. Customize text:
    9a. Do not change the format or the way the signature is arranged.

    •  Add your specific contact information.
    •  Use physical location, not campus box in email signature.
    •  Use P, C, and F; do not spell out phone, cell, and fax.

  10. Next, set the new signature as your Default by selecting its name form the Choose default signature option within the signature box.

  11. Click OK to save changes.
