HCA Update: Second COVID-19 Boosters

 

COVID-19 SECOND BOOSTER UPDATE

In accordance with the recent FDA approval of an additional COVID-19 booster dose, the Health Center at Auraria will begin to administer booster vaccines on April 6, 2022 in accordance with the eligibility guidelines below.

To schedule your vaccine appointment for Pfizer or Moderna Primary series vaccine, first booster, or second booster, go to healthcenter1.com and click in the upper left corner of the home screen to schedule a COVID-19 vaccination or booster appointment. 

Vaccinations and boosters are currently available at no cost.

Eligible individuals: 

  • Adults ages 50 years and older who are not moderately or severely immunocompromised may choose to receive a second booster dose using Pfizer or Moderna COVID-19 vaccine at least four months after the first booster dose. 
  • Moderately or severely immunocompromised individuals ages 12 years or older (for Pfizer) and ages 18 years or older (for Moderna) may choose to receive a second booster dose using the COVID-19 vaccine at least four months after the first booster dose. 
  • Individuals ages 18–49 years who are not moderately or severely immunocompromised and who received Janssen (J&J) COVID-19 Vaccine as both their primary series dose and booster dose may receive a second booster dose using Pfizer or Moderna COVID-19 vaccine at least four months after the first Janssen (J&J) booster dose.
