Auraria Sustainable Campus Program

It may come as no surprise that hosting three institutions—roughly 50,000 faculty, students, and staff—comes with the unique challenge of managing (and mitigating) our collective environmental footprint. From energy and water to waste and transportation, a variety of stakeholders are working diligently to identify and implement solutions that equitably balance economic, social, and environmental responsibilities.

The Auraria Sustainable Campus Program (ASCP) is a student-driven committee with the mission of reducing the campus’s ecological impact and dependence on fossil fuels. By ensuring the campus is sustainable, the ASCP helps to reduce costs and improve campus life for all students, faculty, and staff of Auraria Campus's constituent institutions: Community College of Denver, Metropolitan State University of Denver, and the University of Colorado Denver. Text ASCP to 22828 to receive the ASCP Newsletter. Visit the ASCP website for more information.
