Auraria Health and Safety Announcement
The H1N1 vaccine is available to all individuals beyond high-risk populations.
All Auraria Campus adults are encouraged to receive the free vaccine for protection against the virus. |

Who is considered high -risk for the H1N1 vaccine?
- Pregnant Women;
- Anyone who lives with or cares for infants less than 6 months of age;
- Health care and emergency medical workers;
- Anyone from 18 through 24 years of age. (Students under 18 must be accompanied by a parent.);
- Anyone from 25 through 64 years of age with chronic medical conditions or weakened immune systems. This includes: cancer, blood disorders (sickle cell disease), lung disease (asthma or COPD), diabetes, heart disease, kidney disorder, liver disorder, neurological disorder, neuromuscular disorder, weakened immune disorder such as AIDS or those receiving chemotherapy.
