The Department of Classroom Scheduling is responsible for the scheduling of classes, final exams and special events in classrooms on the Auraria Campus. The Department schedules approximately 200 "smart classrooms" that are equipped with high tech equipment such as video/data projector, document camera, VCR, DVD player, and stereo system including tape and CD player. All of the equipment is operated by a digital touch panel mounted on the instructor's table. Each room is also equipped with a telephone line and connection to each school's network.

The Department is also responsible for creating and maintaining the campus calendar and the five year calendar, and for regulating the campus building hours in accordance with classes and event that take place after hours.
