Auraria Campus Emergency Notification System

Communication plays a critical role before, during, and after any emergency or disaster.

To further strengthen campus emergency preparedness, the Auraria Campus has implemented an emergency notification system. 3n (National Notification Network) is the vendor providing critical notification to students, faculty and staff during emergencies. The system has been implemented for the Auraria Higher Education Center, Community College of Denver, Metropolitan State College of Denver, and the University of Colorado Denver.

Under the 3n system, students, faculty and staff choose how they would like to be notified of a campus emergency. Choices include one or more of the following: SMS text message (standard text messaging fees apply), cell phone (work or personal), AHEC e-mail, personal e-mail or home phone. The Auraria Campus existing telephone notification system to campus extensions will also be used in case of emergency. The system debuted November 1, 2007.

It is important to realize you will not receive emergency notifications via the 3n critical notification system unless you register for this service. Contact the AHEC IT Department (AHEC employees only) or your institution's IT Department to sign up.

Privacy concerns? Download 3n's privacy policy, which describes how the privacy and security of your information will be protected.

Thank you for your participation in and cooperation with this notification system.
