TIMELY NOTIFICATION BULLETIN FOR THE AURARIA CAMPUS
March 5, 2010 0:57 AM

In compliance with the "Timely Notice" provisions of the Federal Jeanne Clery Disclosure of Campus Security Policy and Campus Crime Statistics Act of 1998, the Auraria Higher Education Center located in Downtown Denver is issuing notice of a violent crime that occurred on the Auraria Campus.

REPORTED OFFENSE: On Thursday, March 4, 2010 at approximately 9:20 p.m., the Auraria Police Department was notified of an assault at Campus Village.  The victim parked in the lot behind Campus Village and was assaulted and robbed while exiting the vehicle. The suspect then fled in a unknown direction.
SUSPECT: There is no description of the suspect at this time.
REPORT SUSPICIOUS ACTIVITY: The Auraria Police Department urges everyone to use caution when encountering individuals who are not personally known to them and to be aware of their surroundings at all times.  Please report any suspicious activity or suspicious persons to the Auraria Campus Police Department.

Please encourage anyone with information to assist us in keeping the campus safe.

Be aware of the Blue Light emergency telephones in the parking lots and throughout the campus. Use these telephones to report all suspicious persons or incidents to the Auraria Campus Police Department.
