Auraria
Library
The Auraria Library
serves all three institutions on the campus, providing a wide range
of learning resources and services. The Library has a collection of
approximately 600,000 volumes, with a strong, up-to-date book collection.
In addition, the Library has more than 3,200 journal and newspaper subscriptions,
a film and videotape collection, and access to more than 400 computer-assisted
research databases.

Bookstore
The Auraria Book
Center, located in the historic Tivoli Student Union, provides textbooks
for all three schools, plus a compete general book department; insignia
items; school, office lab and art supplies; and gifts and greeting
cards. Other services include full- service copy centers and a
computer store on the lower level.
Auraria Campus Police Department
The Auraria Campus Police Department is a fully commissioned law enforcement agency whose main priority is to create the safest possible environment for Auraria students, faculty and staff. Campus police officers and security guards provide around the clock police and security services, safety escorts after dark, after hours building admittance, crime prevention programs and support for special events. Auraria Early Learning Center
The Auraria Early Learning Center serves the child care needs of campus students, staff and
faculty, providing toddler, preschool and kindergarten programs for
children 12 months to 7 years. The Center is consistently recognized
by the educational community for its high quality early childhood care
and education program, based on a curriculum that emphasizes discovery
learning and active involvement by children. The latest approaches and
techniques for working with children are implemented in a warm, nurturing
environment that encourages developmentally appropriate practices.
The Center is fully
licensed by the Colorado Department of Human Services and accredited
by the National Academy of Early Childhood Programs, a division of the
National Association for the Education of Young Children. Programs are
funded by tuition and fees, which are paid monthly. Breakfast, lunch
and an afternoon snack are provided.
Center hours are
7:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m. Monday through Friday. For further information,

Parking and Transportation Services
The Auraria Parking system is a self-supporting auxiliary enterprise, receiving no state appropriations. Parking fees are established to provide sufficient annual revenue to support the cost of operation, maintenance and development of Auraria's parking and transportation services. Tivoli
Student Union
The Tivoli Student
Union is a unique campus amenity that combines student union functions
with retail, restaurants and entertainment venues. The Tivoli building
originally served as one of the first breweries in Denver, and is listed
on the National Register of Historic Places. |
