The Auraria Campus has a dedicated, full-service police department, operating 24 hours a day, seven days a week, 365 days a year.

The Auraria Campus Police Department is committed to enhancing the quality of life on the Auraria Campus and for the institutions it serves—the Community College of Denver, Metropolitan State University of Denver, University of Colorado Denver, and the Auraria Higher Education Center.

The Auraria Campus Police Department is responsible for:
